Energy Work Services

Expectant and new moms need relief from the physical and emotional stresses of pregnancy, childbirth, birth recovery, breastfeeding &
on-going child rearing.

HBMS offers the tremendous benefits of Holistic Energy Work...

Contact Us for more information on these helpful services:

Aromatherapy...
.
is the practice of using volatile plant oils, including essential oil, for psychological and physical well-being. Essential oils, the pure essence of a plant, have been found to provide both psychological and physical benefits.

.

Childbirth Relaxation...
.
Relaxation, preparation, and knowledge are essential to a positive birth experience. Relaxation techniques, which incorporate all of your senses, will help you and your partner focus your energy and work with your pain toward a positive and productive labor. Used with both visualization and massage, relaxation helps women to surrender to the power of their labor and progress, moving more smoothly through it to give birth to their babies.
.

.
Reiki Energy Work….

is safe to use during all stages of pregnancy from conception to childbirth. The positive effects of Reiki can be extended to unborn baby. Reiki can be used throughout pregnancy to relieve the stresses and discomforts that the mother is feeling. Reiki can restore an expectant mother's well being.  During birth, Reiki is offered to mothers and babies to help reduce the trauma & stress.

Tests conducted at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut show that Reiki used during pregnancy reduced anxiety by 94 percent, nausea by 80 percent, pain by 78 percent and improved sleep by 86 percent.
.
.

Reflexology...

Foot reflexology brings many benefits for the future mother and can be of enormous support, in particular, it gets rid of stress and tensions, brings about deep relaxation, can regulate and improve blood circulation, eases backaches, provides a state of well-being during pregnancy and helps the mother to be more attentive to her baby. Reflexology can also be helpful in labor and delivery, as some midwives use the treatment for pain relief during labor.

Labor Visualization ~ a.k.a. Hypnosis for Birth...

Visualization is a powerful tool that can help women before and during labor. It allows women to relax, surrender, and remain calm during the birth process ~ decreasing or eliminating the tension that many women experience as pain.

Visualization can lead you gently, easily to a deep state of relaxation & peace.

.

Homeopathy...

Homeopathy is ideal for women in their childbearing years as it is a gentle system of medicine. By stimulating your vitality in pregnancy, homeopathic treatment can benefit your baby; and by staying as healthy as possible during pregnancy, you are giving your baby the ideal conditions in which to thrive.

Bach Flower Remedies...

Bach Flower Remedies are a safe and natural method of healing. They gently restore the balance between mind and body by addressing negative emotions, such as, fear, worry, anxiety, and indecision which interfere with the equilibrium of the being as a whole. Bach Flower Remedies allow calm, peace, and happiness to return so that the body is free to heal itself.
