My name is Bettie Sheets. I am a mother of 8, Army wife, doula, and midwife. My life work is serving women and their families during the childbearing year. I have served women in some capacity for over 14 years.

It is my greatest wish to extend my belief that birth is inherently safe to the families whom I serve. My clients define the type of care that they wish to receive, some will desire more from me than others, your wishes are always foremost in my mind. Our time together will be unhurried and supportive. You are inviting me into your home for one of the most special days of your life, I will never lose sight of that! We will work together to make sure that your needs are met prenatally through education and attention to your physical and emotional condition. Most importantly, I want to develop a relationship with my clients that is based on trust and mutual respect.

I provide service to the Greater Hampton Roads area, Williamsburg, The Middle Peninsula, and Northern Neck.

Childbirth Classes, Labor Doula Services, birth tub rentals, and Placenta Encapsulation are other services which are available regardless of if you choose to have a homebirth.
