Located in the Bangor, Maine area. We believe that every childbearing woman deserves respectful, compassionate care tailored to her individual needs. We focus on childbirth and nutritional education in our prenatal visits, giving women confidence to make their own informed choices and birth plan. Our visits are at least 1 hr long allowing time for discussion and assessment of emotional and physical needs of the mother. The midwives are available to attend your birth from the time you feel you would like someone there, for the entire labor and delivery, and generally for 2-4 hrs after the birth. In the first postpartum week we visit 2-3 times to ensure maternal infant safety and to help with lactation needs. Our fee for services is $3,000. We will bill your insurance company for reimbursement to you directly.
